Description

Inspired by his favourite childhood comics,Felix Treadwell paints playful characters, animals, and fantastic creatures. Inhis current exhibition at Woaw Gallery, Treadwell draws comparisons betweenhuman beings and dinosaurs to reflect on fragility and mortality. In recentyears, he’s been focusing on a semi-autobiographical character called Feelo. Hesays that in his works, Feelo not only acts like him, but also represents theviewer exploring the world in which we live.

 

Treadwell’s works have been exhibited inLondon, Amsterdam, Cologne, Miami, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and Taipei. He washonored with the Hix Award in 2014.
